There are actually 9 layers of color on the body of this pumpkin!
Four layers of enamel white and two layers of cobalt blue on the inside layer, and then three layers of dense black on the bottom half of the outside layer only.
Just in time for the Summer season, or year-round decoration!
As with any work of art, each piece will have its own one-of-a-kind attributes to add to its charm.
This pumpkin is approximately 6 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide.
Each glass pumpkin is hand-blown by glass artist Keith Cerone in Boston, MA.
Keith Cerone began working with glass in the woods of the Berkshire Mountains of Western MA.
Working for six local glass artists in the area, Keith was continually introduced to a wide variety of concepts and styles. He further developed his own glass sculpting techniques at the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, MA where he received his BFA in 2006. In 2012, he received his Masters's Degree in Glass sculpting from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.
